Even though we don’t celebrate this special day, I want to pitch in some ideas to all my friends out there who are trying to decide what they will dress this year. Since Halloween is only two weeks away some of you might not have the time for an elaborate costume and taking into consideration the whole economic climate we are living in these days, a costume that will not break the bank is also important

My costume ideas are simple and you will just use pieces you already have in your closet & just add makeup. I chose three costume options, Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz, Red Riding Hood, and a couple costume to dress as Burglars. I hope my costume ideas will help you. Costume: Dorothy from Wizard of Oz

Get your white and blue checked dress & if you don’t own one go for pale blue, make pigtails, get your red flats out of the closet, take your basket and add before you leave some red lipstick and you are ready to go.

Costume: Red Riding Hood

If you don’t own a red hood, you can find a cheap one easily in a costume store, add your white dress and flats both white and black will do the trick, take your basket and also here add a bold red lipstick and get ready to rock the town. If you manage your boyfriend/ husband to dress as the big bad wolf you will have the perfect couple’s costume.

Couple’s Costume: Burglars

If you want to dress as a couple with your significant other, dressing as burglars are the perfect costume idea for you. Get your marinara and black trousers out of the closet, add you Converse All-Stars for comfort, wear your black gloves and beanies, buy two simple black masks from your local costume store and you are ready. I would also wear red lipstick with this costume, you might be dress as a burglar but that doesn’t mean you can’t be stylish.
