On my 2018 goals post, I shared that one of my goals for this year is to travel more than last year. Traveling is one of my favorite experiences in life. Every trip fuels my wanderlust and I want to travel more and more, to new and old places. Last year, I was able only to enjoy a week-long vacation on the island of Kithira. I wanted so much to travel abroad but at the very last minute, I had to cancel our plans. This year around, I am trying to be more strategic in regards to traveling. I created a travel bucket list of all the destinations I want to visit this year. It will serve as an inspiration board to save more money and cross as many destinations from my bucket list as possible. As you read my list I would love to know, have you visited any of the places below? If yes, do you have any tips to share with things and places that I shouldn’t miss? Last but not least, I would love to know what’s on your 2018 traveling bucket list.
MY 2018 TRAVEL BUCKET LIST
Lisbon. I have heard so many great things about the capital of Portugal that I definitely want to travel there.
Madrid. Most people want to travel to Barcelona but I really want my first trip to Spain to be to Madrid. The museums, the cafés, the food are just a few of the reasons to visit Madrid.
Florence. I visited Florence almost a decade ago. It’s such a beautiful city and I want to visit it again this year. The new Gucci Gardens museum is top on my places to visit in Florence.
Paris. This May we will celebrate our ten year anniversary. A trip to Paris would be the perfect way to celebrate ten years together as a couple and make plans for the next ten.
Prague. What can I say about Prague! It’s a fairytale city that I fell in love with a few years back. There are still so many things to do and places to visit that I didn’t have time to do the first time I visited.
Stockholm. I have family living in Sweden and it would be great to combine a trip to Stockholm with visiting them. I have heard only raving things about Stockholm apart from the cold weather.
Milan. Another Italian city made it to my travel bucket list. Milan can be an amazing three-day getaway destination.
