Easy to make, below are four dangerously delicious Oscars cocktail recipes to make that night a smashing success.
OSCARS COCKTAIL RECIPES
THE QUEEN’S FAVORITE
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 oz rosé
- 1.5 oz cremant or any champagne method sparkling wine
- 0.5 oz lemon juice
INSTRUCTIONS:
Add chilled ingredients to a coupe. Top with a splash of soda water or seltzer. Garnish with mint and raspberries and a dusting of powdered sugar.
ROSELLA
INGREDIENTS:
- 1.5 oz tequila blanco
- 0.5 oz white vermouth
- 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
- 0.5 oz simple syrup
- 5 drops lavender bitters
- 1.5 oz ginger beer
- hibiscus flower
- orange oil
INSTRUCTIONS:
Combine tequila, white vermouth, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup and bitters into a shaker with ice. Shake gently. Strain into a flute over a hibiscus flower. Top with ginger beer and mist with orange oil.
SINGAPORE FLING
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 oz Cointreau
- 1 oz cognac
- 0.75 lemon juice
- 3 lychees
INSTRUCTIONS:
Muddle lychees in a shaker. Add remaining ingredients and fill with ice. Shake and strain over ice into a rocks glass. Garnish with a lychee on a pick.
ANCHO OLD FASHIONED
INGREDIENTS:
- 1.5 oz tequila
- 1 bar spoon of Ancho Reyes Chile Liqueur
- 3 drops bittered sling Arabica coffee bitters
- 0.25 oz demerara syrup (2 parts sugar:1 part water)
INSTRUCTIONS:
Combine all ingredients in a glass and stir together with ice. Mist with orange oil and garnish with an orange twist.
