A CREATIVELY BEAUTIFUL SCANDINAVIAN APARTMENT…
Currently, my mind is in a nesting mode and dreaming of new ways to decorate our apartment. I am pinning beautiful home decor images on Pinterest and seeking inspiration in home tour posts. Therefore, I thought it would be a good idea to post a home tour on the blog.
My Scandinavian Home is one of my favorite home decor blogs, featuring beautiful Scandinavian homes. Niki posted an amazing home tour that I had to repost. It is the Scandinavian apartment of Karoline Modig – journalist, editor, and author – her husband’s Erik and children Elliot and Mio. The family lives in an 85 square meter three-bedroom apartment, where art, books, and plants “melt together”. Check the beautiful images below and for more information the original post here.
The selves are higher up top to create space for the art underneath. A Ferm Living wire basket and top doubles as a table.
A sheepskin cushion makes a classic Swedish Orust chair by Staland little comfier.
The tiles in the kitchen are old-English school-tiles from the Winchester Tile Company.
An antique Sputnik light adds a further glimmer of gold to the dining area.
As a result, the colour makes everything “melt together”.
Meanwhile, there are some beautiful botanical school posters in the bedroom.
The children’s room is decorated with Cloud wallpaper by Ferm Living.
